Content Team GutFeel Editorial Team
Our guides are researched and written in-house by the GutFeel content team, working from
published gastroenterology and nutrition literature. We are writers and researchers, not
clinicians.
What we are not. GutFeel.ai articles are not medically
reviewed, and no article on this site should be read as a diagnosis, a treatment
plan, or a substitute for care from a licensed clinician or registered dietitian. We do not
employ physicians, and we do not claim medical credentials. If you have persistent or severe
digestive symptoms, see a doctor.
How we research and write
- Source first. Before drafting, we gather primary sources: peer-reviewed
studies indexed on PubMed, the Monash University FODMAP programme, and clinical guidance
published by bodies such as the American College of Gastroenterology and the NIH.
- Draft with AI assistance, edited by people. We use large language models
to help structure and draft articles. Every article is then read and edited by a member of
the content team before publication. We disclose this because we think readers deserve to
know how what they are reading was made.
- Check claims against sources. Factual and numerical claims are checked
against the cited source. Where we cannot locate a reliable source for a claim, we remove
the claim rather than soften it.
- Flag the limits. Digestive symptoms overlap with serious conditions. Where
a topic has red-flag symptoms, we say so and point readers toward medical assessment
instead of dietary self-management.
Corrections
If you find an error, tell us and we will fix it or remove the claim. Email
editorial@gutfeel.ai. We log substantive
corrections in the article itself with the date it was updated.
Editorial independence
We do not accept payment to recommend specific foods, supplements, or medications. Articles
promote the GutFeel app, which is our own product — that relationship is disclosed on every
page rather than hidden.
